On December 14, 2022, Devoteam signed the “Alliance for Equality in ICT” protocol, which brings together dozens of technology companies and seeks to promote the inclusion, training and retention of women in the technology field.
This protocol is part of the “Engineers for a day” program that promotes non-higher education students to opt for engineering and technology, deconstructing the idea that these are male domains.
Devoteam is committed to this mission, working more and more towards diversity and inclusion in the organization, either through partnerships and associations to projects like this one, or through the development of internal initiatives, such as the “Women in Tech” forum, which seeks to discuss and share the challenges of being a woman in the world of technology.
Cátia Silva, Head of People Experience, says that “the path to equality and diversity is not always an easy path, but when the entire organization is focused and invested in it, it becomes easier to achieve these goals. At Devoteam, we want to do part of this change and contribute to creating an environment and culture where diversity and inclusion are part of the DNA of everyone who works here.”
